Bonnie's (Kat Graham) recurring dreams lead her to a possible solution to the problem with Klaus (Joseph Morgan) as well as to a reunion with her mother, Abby (Persia White). Bonnie and Elena (Nina Dobrev) visit Abby's remote farmhouse and meet Jamie (Robert Ri'chard), a young man she took in years earlier. Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is intrigued by Dr. Fell (Torrey Devitto). Paul Wesley also stars in the new episode "The Ties That Bind."
