Last week’s episode was the most satisfying yet for this series: Emilia Clarke, as Daenerys, took control of the slave army while delivering cruel but deserved retribution for the ruler who had negotiated with her while taunting her in his native tongue. She revealed she was fluent in his language – just before she unleashed her fury. And her dragon. And the slave army, now firmly behind her. Watch out, all you other families vying for the throne. This one’s looking particularly unstoppable.
