DOCTOR WHO - BBC AMERICA: SEASON FIVE MINITHON SCHEDULE THURSDAY, MARCH 14, 2013

Doctor Who season five cast includes Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill.

2:00AM The Hungry Earth

It's 2020 and scientists are drilling far into the Earth's crust, hoping to make history - but deep below the surface, something is not right.

Guest stars include Neve McIntosh, Meera Syal, Robert Pugh, Nia Roberts, Alun Raglan and Sam Davies.

3:00AM Cold Blood

The Earth is on the brink of its final war, or a new age of harmony.

Guest stars include Neve McIntosh, Meera Syal, Robert Pugh and Nia Roberts.

4:00AM Vincent and The Doctor * Excellent Episode! *

Visiting a museum, the Doctor (Matt Smith) and Amy (Karen Gillan) are especially excited with the gallery for Vincent van Gogh (Tony Curran). Many of van Gogh pieces are displayed, including "The Church at Auvers (1890)". However there is something irregular discovered on the painting - a small alien image within a window pane. The Doctor quickly takes Amy back to 1890 where they locate the troubled artist that upsets the locals, cannot pay his bills, and is able to see an invisible monster that no one else is able to see.

Guest stars include Defiance's Tony Curran, Nik Howden, Chrissie Cotterill and Sarah Counsell.

5:00AM The Lodger

No sooner does the TARDIS land on Earth that it leaves again - but without the Doctor (Matt Smith) who had just stepped outside. The Doctor soon finds himself at the home of Craig Owens (James Corden), who has been advertising for a lodger. There's clearly something odd in the house with people being lured to the upstairs room, but never reappearing. The Doctor is having a good time of it and is having a bit of fun; he proves to be a rather good football player. Craig the landlord is very much in love with Sophie (Daisy Haggard) but can't quite bring himself to tell her. The Doctor tries to help them out. But then there's always the problem of that upstairs room.

Guest stars include James Corden, Daisy Haggard, Owen Donovan and Babatunde Aleshe.
