Season Premiere: Just in time for Halloween, The CW’s teen vampire drama returns tonight with its heroine, Elena, discovering she has died -- and is now becoming a vampire. (Hey, just like “Twilight”!) Stefan and Bonnie race to find a way to reverse the transformation, while Damon rages at his brother for letting Elena die. Meanwhile, the local pastor and his followers decide to start rounding up all the vampires in town. While this action is long overdue in Mystic Falls, our money’s still on the vampires.
