Stefan and Damon (Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder) continue to fight over what they think is best for Elena (Nina Dobrev), who's riding the emotional roller coaster that comes with becoming a vampire. Damon decides to act on his own. A stranger (Connor Jordan) comes to town and peppers Sheriff Forbes and Mayor Lockwood (Marguerite MacIntyre, Susan Walters) with questions that have Stefan suspecting he's a vampire hunter in the new episode "Memorial."
