Telling Sam (Jared Padalecki) that he needs a "personal day," Dean (Jensen Ackles) answers a call from Benny (Ty Olsson), who's been beaten by vampires. Benny explains that he's going after his Maker (Patrick Stafford), and Dean offers to join him, remembering how Benny helped him in Purgatory. Sam uses his time alone to reflect on the life he left behind, but he's soon called to help Dean and Benny out of a jam in the new episode "Blood Brother."
