Season Premiere: The future doesn’t look so bright for the “Fringe” team as Fox’s cult sci-fi drama kicks off its fifth and final season tonight. Encased in amber, the team emerges to find it’s now 2036 (twenty years in the future) and they’re leading a rebellion against a dystopian Observer-led society. The producers have promised the final season will be a “love letter” to fans; does that mean we’ll get to see Peter and Olivia live happily ever after?
