Season Premiere: NBC’s fairy-tale procedural gets an early start on the fall TV season, rolling out its Season 2 premiere tonight. Detective Nick Burkhardt, who can see the fairy-tale characters living among us, now has to deal with the arrival of his presumed-dead mom, played by Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio. And while he’s busy unraveling a vast conspiracy to hunt him down that’s led to a string of gory murders, Juliette remains in her Sleeping Beauty-esque coma from last season.
