Scientists try to replicate an experiment attempted in World War II: making a Navy destroyer invisible to the enemy. Their efforts bring the ship into the present day, with disastrous results, and the sole survivor from the original experiment is the only one who can stop it. Nicholas Lea and Malcolm McDowell star in this new remake of a 1984 sci-fi classic; Michael Pare, who starred in the original, has a small role here.
