ALPHAS - NBCU DIRECT: LAURA MENNELL VIDEO INTERVIEW
The second season of "Alphas" premieres on Monday July 23rd at 10/9c. We caught up with star Laura Mennell to find out what's in store for this season and her character. Mennell plays the attractive and sophisticated Nina Theroux who gives new meaning to the idea that a woman " always gets what she wants." Her alpha skill is called "pushing" and it involves the disruption of the specific neural pathways in the cerebral cortex that leave the brain vulnerable to suggestion. It's Nina's curse to know that those aware of her ability, cannot distinguish if she is being genuine or if she is controlling them.
We asked Mennell, what she would do if she had that power for a day in her life and who she thinks the Alphas of the real world are.
