World Footprints was pleased to cover the 2011 G.I. Film Festival. As we prepare for coverage of this year's G.I. Film Festival we will take a look back at last year and share interviews with acclaimed celebrities and filmmakers from Gary Sinise to William Devane, Lou Diamond Phillips and director Rodney Ray.
The GI Film Festival is the first film festival in the nation to exclusively celebrate the successes and sacrifices of the service member through the medium of film.
Also, as a special treat we will have a brief chat with daytime's bad boy and heart-throb, Sean Kanan. Sean is best known for his role as Deacon Sharp on CBS Daytime's The Young and the Restless.
The 2012 G.I. Film Festival is scheduled for May 15-20 in Washington, D.C.
Gary Sinise stars in CSI: New York. William Devane co-stars in the new made-for-TV movie, Jesse Stone: Benefit of the Doubt, airing May 20, 2012 at 9/8C on CBS. Lou Diamond Phillips co-stars in the new TV series, Longmire, premiering June 3, 2012 at 10/9C on A & E TV.
