Zoie Palmer graciously accepted to talk to Suite101.com in a conversation where she shares some of her thoughts on the success of Lost Girl, her character, the show’s worldwide exponentially growing fan base, and its upcoming premiere in the US [premieres Monday, January 16, 2012 at 10/9C on Syfy]...
... Suite101: How did you find out about the Lauren part on Lost Girl? And what do you particularly like about her?
Zoie Palmer: "I auditioned for the part of that character back in Season 1. And I think that what I like about her is that she's kind of a unique individual on the show, in that she's one of the only humans. And she's a doctor and gets to sort of integrate with the Fae creatures in a way that nobody else does as a human being. She gets kind of insight into their world in a way that no one else kind of in the human world does, including Kenzi. So it's kind of an interesting character that way..."
