GAME OF THRONES - HBO: 'WINTER IS COMING' ENCORE - AIRS THURSDAY, JANUARY 26, 2012 AT 10/9C
In the premiere of this adaptation of author George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" medieval fantasies, King Robert Baratheon (Mark Addy) journeys north to offer Lord Ned Stark (Sean Bean) an important position in his court after the death of a trusted mentor. Meanwhile, the exiled Prince Viserys Targaryen (Harry Lloyd) uses his sister, Daenerys (Emilia Clarke), as a pawn in his plot to return to power.
Guest stars include Jamie Sives, Ron Donachie, Joseph Mawle, Roger Allam, Dar Salim, Esmé Bianco and Susan Brown.
Game of Thrones season two premieres Sunday, April 1, 2012 on HBO.
