In 2012, BBC America will take you from the other side of the pond to the end of the earth with several brand new series, including "Planet Earth," "The Fades," "No Kitchen Required" and "Richard Hammond's Crash Course." Plus a new season of "Doctor Who!"

Cast includes Tom Weston-Jones (MI-5, Spooks), Kyle Schmid (Blood Ties), Anastasia Griffith (Royal Pains) and Franka Potente (The Bourne Supremacy).
This crime series is set in 1860s New York City. It follows an Irish-immigrant cop working in the city's notorious Five Points neighborhood. The show was created by Tom Fontana (Oz, Homicide: Life on the Streets) and Will Rokos (Monster's Ball, Southland). Copper launches on BBC America this summer and on Showcase in Canada in the fall.
